Article marketing is still very viable even with video building up and duplicate content fears. Search engine rankings are questionable for the back-linking to your site. Search engines eliminate duplicate content through competition giving the index to the best site for the info and getting rid of the rest. Each article on each article site will bring visitors to your site as some smaller sites have their loyal fans.

Notice: It is risky to name a person or company and put it on an article site for mass distribution or use mass distribution software. Reason is even if it is favorable they can make you take it down as they may not want it presented in that manner. Since most article sites allow republishing by webmasters, you will have a nightmare time trying to take it all down everywhere. A few companies or individuals may not want you to promote them in the way you presented it.

Avoid too many resource box links coming to your site all at once or too many in too fast, this most experts do agree on as search engine scripts may trigger a spammer flag. The better service and software can send out a few a day of your article. It may work to setup a link in your resource box to another site you have as a drop page so your other main site doesn’t take a penalty for too many of these links, especially if you are going to write a lot or have a lot of articles written for you.

If your new to internet marketing, article sites themselves are almost always free and fairly easy to get into. Whatever you do make sure your on all or at least one of the specific sites listed below. The reason is they have a high rate of webmasters who will want to republish your articles on their site giving you even more and better links back to your site, or your article will rank high without you doing much else besides submitting it because these sites are favored by the engines, there is no order here as they all get a good index with good Alexa and Google rankings.

NOTICE: You may want to try a service before using software as some software MAY NOT do all the logins to each article site for you but a service usually does all this. The software MAY do it all or just prefill and you have to do the captcha (freaky input to see if your human) on each site that has this.

There are hundreds of article sites and blogs that will take your article. This list is in no order on this list of software and services. These are the main ones in the market but not all that exist.

When I started out making articles just to make articles is okay but not great but made a big mistake, you really need to concentrate on keywords in your links back to your site and titles of the articles.

If using multiple software or services you may want to write a different article for different services and software to avoid a double article if their lists cross each other. Sending two of the same articles to a site will get you banned as you waste their time. Also, use a good separate than your regular email from Gmail or Yahoo! as your login. You won’t want to have to ever change this as this is your login for some of these article sites.
